Physical Security Surveys
A physical security survey tells you where your site is weak, which threats are worth worrying about, and what to deal with first. It is the on-site review that tells you what you are actually dealing with, before anyone spends money. We look at your buildings, your people, and the way you work day to day, then write down what we find.
Most security spending goes wrong for one reason, which is that nobody checked the risk first. A new camera system will not help if the real problem is a fire door that gets propped open every afternoon. Our survey finds that door.

The work is thorough, but it will not stop your team getting on with their jobs. You end up with a report your board can actually read, with the fixes ranked by risk.
Why a Physical Security Survey Is Essential
A good security plan cannot be built on guesswork. If you do not know where the gaps are, you can spend a lot of money and still leave the front door open. Worse, you will not know it until something goes wrong.
A survey changes that. It shows you which risks are real, so your budget goes where it does the most good. It also gives your senior team the facts they need when they have to sign off on spending or explain a decision later.
Plenty of firms only book a survey after a break-in or because an insurer asked for one. Doing it sooner costs less and gives you time to plan the work properly.

You get a report that ranks every finding by risk. No jargon, and no 90-page appendix nobody reads. Need a wider review of how your people, systems, and processes fit together? How Our Physical Security Survey Works
Every physical security survey we run follows the same four steps.
First we talk, because we need to know what you are protecting and what worries you. A distribution centre and a head office are not the same job.
Then we visit. We walk the site, watch how it runs, and talk to the people who work there. Staff usually know exactly where the weak spots are. Nobody has asked them.
Next we rank what we found, so a gap that puts your key assets at risk goes to the top, and a minor housekeeping point goes lower. You should never have to guess what to do first.
Finally, we hand over the report and talk you through it. If you want help choosing suppliers or checking the work once it is done, we can stay involved.
Both our consultants hold CPP and PSP. These are board certifications from ASIS International, and they are earned by people who do this work, not by firms who sell kit. They also hold a Level 6 financial crime qualification and an advanced investigative interviewing certification, and Si4 is currently going through screening for six more. The person who walks your site is the person who writes your report. We do not send juniors.
We have no product to push, so we tell you what we found and what we would do about it. Some of those answers are cheap. A change to a patrol route costs nothing.
